The Change Star plugin extends the functionality offered by FrameMaker's native change bar dialog box. In addition, the Change Star dialog is modeless and can remain enlarged or minimized on your desktop while you work.
Features
- With Change Star, you can rapidly search forwards or backwards through a document for change bar flagged text. Once located, the text is highlighted and you can optionally apply automatic double underlining to the content.
- Change bars can be applied to single lines, whole paragraphs, or ranges of selected text at the click of a button. As with the search feature described above, you can optionally apply double underlining to newly marked text. Change bars and double underlining can be also removed from selected text ranges or from the entire document.
- All the existing features of FrameMaker's native change bar system are implemented in this utility, however Change Star enhances these capabilities by allowing you to make dynamic modifications to the change bar definitions of the document with input focus.
- The change you make is immediately displayed in the document. If focus changes to another document, the dialog box updates accordingly.
