The Control Panel plugin offers immediate interactive access to FrameMaker tools and display functions.
Features
- An intuitive dialog box shows you state information for the document with input focus, and allows you to execute common tasks such as activating or deactivating change bars, modifying line break characters, or setting Smart Quotes and Smart Spaces.
- When the input focus changes to a different document flow, the dialog box display is updated. In addition, the utility detects when a property is changed using a shortcut or the native functionality and refreshes accordingly.
- You can use the control panel open and close all index markers in the flow. When a marker is opened, you can directly edit the content before closing the text back into its parent marker. Note that this feature is compliant with Marker Madness and Marker Madness TS.
- The Control Panel is modeless, and can be maximized or minimized in the FrameMaker display while you are working. A full list of features is provided in the README file that accompanies the plugin.
