In order to generate a serial number for a plugin, you must go to the vouchers page and submit the five-character HostID for your system along with the voucher reference number you receive when you purchase a license.
The HostID is displayed after you download and install the plugin and start FrameMaker, and an example is shown in the screenshot below.
