The Marker Madness plugin is an advanced authoring tool that offers a complete replacement for the native FrameMaker marker management system.

- With Marker Madness you can conduct a directional search through a document for any or all markers, and then open or close them by type, globally, individually, or by selection.
- The Marker Builder provides a customizable list of text entries that are stored in a configuration file. When you click on an entry in the list, the corresponding text is inserted into the marker content text field in the Marker Manager panel.
- You can use this plugin to store boilerplate marker content that can be easily added whenever you create or modify a marker. By default, the Marker Builder provides you with a number of useful index entry building blocks, although you can change or remove these entries if you wish.
- From the Marker Madness dialog box, markers can be created, renamed, modified, unwrapped, or deleted. You can create markers by copying or wrapping selected text, and they can be removed by unwrapping or deletion. You can also unwrap or delete all markers in a text selection.
- To help you organize your building blocks, you can store multiple entries inside your own marker groups, which are easily accessible from a drop list in the marker builder.
